Maca and lexapro

Can someone out there confirm that most antidepressants are dispensed as pills, which are hard to grind to soluble dust?
I grant that the effect is real, as many women on Lexapro have found, but its administration has to be subtle.

As the title says, I'm not a doctor (or a lawyer, counselor, or any other medical type), but I am an engineer. I hadn't noticed the comparision to Ohios' story, but it is valid. I'll buy the BiPolar excuse before the depression. I have inlaws, outlaws, and regular relatives that are bipolar, and each in their own way are very scary. The biggest problem with the bipolar excuse, is that it just doesn't manifest in six months. The infidelity was, I assume (risking all for that word) was a one-time occurence. She knew what she was doing but couldn't (wouldn't) help herself. Very strange circumstances, but I guess the onset of menopause could start triggering symptoms. God knows menopause triggers enough on its own. Things just didn't seem to fit together on the cheating.
Next thing that bothered me, Ju never seemed to profess any desire to have a restored muscle car, that was his dream. Why would he plan to give it to her? Especially as a surprise. It would make more sense to tell her upfront that he wanted to give her a part of his dream, and let her share in the restoration. Then she'd appreciate the car.
Lastly an observation, if I were to see my S.O. performing in a car next to me, I'd loose it too. I don't know if I'd be racing the troopers, but I'd sure be leaving in a hurry! Strange that the wife gets a 'walk' on her infidelity due to mental health issues. The husband gets nailed for loosing it during what could be considered a serious mental health incident. Seems like the constant inequities in civil vs criminal offenses will never change.
Time for me to take my Lexapro again, I'm starting to feel depressed (grin)! Thanks for sharing a very good story!

I liked the way Sue's affair had a cascading effect. Definitely five stars.
But think about why she did it....a younger man paying her compliments, making her desirable. She only had her husband as comparison and he had given up. In fact he explains that he had been shut out from sex for 3 years. He doesn't mention other aspects of their lives. Sue explains that she had simply no interest in sex. And who would she have sex with if she was interested? Yes, it would have been hubby. Seems like hubby's problems are to do with lack of sex and that affected everything else. I'm sure they both realized it was the menopause....these things are not uncommon.
She refused Hormone Replacement therapy since she didn't want chemicals in her and we know they have a lot of side effects (though I'm not a doctor). But there are a number of herbal remedies that work quite well to increase libido and reduce other menopausal symptoms....try Maca, because it worked like magic for us in a couple of weeks. Of course what works for one may not work for another. My point is that her husband didn't try alternatives. After 3 years, I can understand the monotony of their lives. I can also understand Sue's reaction when, after 3 years, someone takes an interest in her. She felt thrilled enough to have sex with the man.
So my take on this is that when all this started, when hubby still had strong feelings of love for her, he should have looked for alternatives. He's an educated and intelligent man. He could have spoken to doctors, support groups, and the Internet for heaven's sake!! Someone, someway he would have heard about the herbal stuff. There's enough out there about ED and women's libido during menopause. How could he miss all those remedies??? Sooner or later they would have begun to have sex again in some fashion, rekindling intimacy. Hubby would have been the one complimenting her, making them both work on enjoying being together as empty nester's. Sue states she never felt out of love with him, just that physiologically, she felt different, until, at random, a stranger made moves on her.
This whole situation had every chance of recovery. If you love someone, you need to make every effort....and here the husband didn't. So many remedies out there. While not every woman finds relief, there is a good chance.
